Mental & Physical Connections to Nature
This program will include youth and young adults who are having trouble with mental health. In groups, they will come together on weekends to share about their experience which will allow them to build relationships and create support groups. In addition to regular in-person meetings where healthy food is freely available, the groups will participate in a series of fieldtrips to natural areas. Being in nature 'rewires' our brains and teamwork will allow us to strengthen community bonds.
