Proposal to Fund Green Spaces and Accessible Recycling Disposal System

The LH community is proposing funding the implementation of green spaces (e.g., green roofs, vertical walls, community gardens, street/sidewalk trees, small spaces between buildings) in downtown, main/industrial districts, and apartment-dense neighborhoods. The initiative would improve air quality by absorbing CO2, helping offset traffic and industrial energy production GHG emissions. Quality of life for residents would see an increase. An accessible recycling system would encourage recycling.
