The Lemon Grove: Where Wellness Takes Root

LOCATION:

  • Different parks in different districts in Little Lemon 

  • Schools? – since it can serve as a central location and already has a cafeteria

    • Pick-up after school and bussed to specific areas in nature

WHAT:

A program for youth who are experiencing mental health challenges. They will come together in groups to share their experience in order to build relationships & support. In addition to regular in person meetings where free healthy food is available, the groups will have field trips to natural areas.

WHY:

Being in nature 'rewires' our brains and teamwork will allow us to strengthen community bonds.

WHO:

K-12 youth experiencing mental health challenges, families of K-12 students.
